VIP handling

VIP handling includes:

 

VIP ASSISTANCE:

Turnaround Coordinator (TRC)

Welcome service

Supervise and coordinate the provision of agreed services

Ground handling of the passengers and baggage in arrival:

  1. TRC meets the passengers upon aircraft arrival and accompanied them to the vehicle by which they are transported to the terminal ;
  2. Baggage is unloaded from the aircraft and transported to the baggage claim area, where it is picked up by a ramp staff-Loading/ unloading agent and delivered to the vehicle waiting in front of the GAT;
  3. Upon arrival at the terminal, TRC hands over the passengers to the Welcome Service employee who assist them through Passport Control and Customs Check then accompanies them to the vehicle waiting in front of the GAT;
  4. TRC returns to the aircraft and continues with duties regarding the Ground handling of the aircraft;

Ground handling of the passengers and baggage on departure:

  1. Welcome service staff meets the passengers in front of GAT;
  2. Welcome service staff accompanied passengers to security screening check and assist through Passport Control and Customs Check;
  3. After performing security screening check, Welcome service staff organize transport of the passengers to the aircraft;
  4. The Ramp staff – loading/unloading staff picks up the VIP passenger baggage in front of the GAT, delivers it for the security check and after the check- he delivers it to the baggage claim area and then it is transported to the aircraft and it is loaded;
  5. In the case that the VIP service includes the use of the VIP lounge, the Welcome service staff accompanies the passengers to the Lounge after the security screening check and he is at their disposal during their stay in the lounge.

 

VEHICLE ACCESS TO THE APRON FOR VIP HANDLING

Vehicle access to the Apron on VIP passenger departure:

  1. Vehicles with VIP passengers arrives in front of GAT;
  2. Welcome service staff meets the passengers in front of GAT;
  3. Welcome service staff and accompanied passengers through GAT to security screening check and assist them through Passport Control and Customs Check;
  4. The ramp staff – loading /unloading agent picks up VIP passenger baggage in front of the GAT, delivers it for security check and after performing security check , he delivers it to baggage claim area from where it is transported to the aircraft and loaded on ;
  5. Vehicles accessing to the Apron proceed to vehicles security check and driver security screening to Airside access point – O3, and after performing the check, DBV security officer escorts them to the GAT to pick up the VIP passengers and then drive the passengers to the aircraft, as well escorted by DBV security officer;
  6. After embarkation of passengers and baggage loading at the aircraft, the vehicles are followed to the nearest security exit and drive out from the Apron.

Vehicle access to the Apron in VIP passenger arrival:

  1. Vehicles which have access to the Apron to pick up the VIP passengers in arrival, proceed to the vehicle security check and driver security screening to the Airside access point - O3;
  2. After security check, DBV security officer escorts the vehicles to the aircraft;
  3. After disembarkation the passengers, TRC coordinate with passport control and Customs check at the aircraft and after performing the check, passengers are drive to the vehicles;
  4. Baggage is offloading from the aircraft and put to the vehicles;
  5. After performing all check and baggage loading, DBV security officer escorts the vehicles to the nearest exit and drive out from the apron.
