Basic handling

Basic handling includes:

 

Turnaround Coordinator (TRC);

Welcome the aircraft on arrival and communicate with the crew;

Supervise and coordinate the provision of agreed services;

Ground handling of the aircraft, passengers and baggage in arrival:

  1. Parking the aircraft, position wheel chocks, tail sands and aircraft tethering (if necessary), position safety cones.
  2. Direct passengers from the aircraft to the passenger building or provide transportation between the aircraft and the airport terminal;
  3. Unload baggage, deliver baggage to the baggage claim area;
  4. Direct the crew from the aircraft to the terminal or provide transportation between the aircraft and the general aviation terminal;
  5. If necessary provide services toilet services and replenish tanks with drinking water (specified as Centralized Infrastructure – Ramp handling);
  6. If necessary, liaise and coordinate with the aircraft refueling service provider;

 

Ground handling of the aircraft , passengers and baggage on departure:

  1. Direct the crew from the terminal to the aircraft or provide transportation between the general aviation terminal to the aircraft;
  2. Direct passengers from the terminal to the aircraft or provide transportation between the airport terminal and aircraft ;
  3. Deliver baggage from the baggage sorting area to the aircraft, load baggage into the aircraft;
  4. If necessary provide services: toilet services and replenish tanks with drinking water (specified as Centralized Infrastructure – Ramp Handling);
  5. If necessary; liaise and coordinate with the aircraft refueling service provider ;
  6. Remove the wheel chocks under the wheels and remove safety cones.

 

GAT Access:

 

Turnaround Coordinator (TRC);

Welcome service at GAT;

Supervise and coordinate the provision of agreed services;

Ground handling of the passengers and baggage in arrival:

  1. TRC meets the passengers upon aircraft arrival and accompanied them to the vehicle by which they are transported to the terminal. Upon arrival at the terminal, TRC hands over the passengers to the Welcome Service employee who assist them through Passport Control and Customs Check then accompanies them to the vehicle waiting in front of the GAT;
  2. Baggage is unloaded from the aircraft and transported and delivered to the vehicle waiting in front of the GAT.

Ground handling of the passengers and baggage on departure:

  1. Welcome service staff meets the passengers in front of GAT;
  2. Welcome service staff accompanied passengers to security screening check and assist through Passport Control and Customs Check;
  3. After performing security screening check, Welcome service staff organize transport of the passengers to the aircraft and TRC escorts passengers;
  4. The Ramp staff – loading/unloading staff picks up the passenger baggage in front of the GAT, delivers it for the security check and after the check, baggage is transported to the aircraft and loaded;
  5. In the case that the VIP service includes the use of the VIP lounge, the Welcome service staff accompanies the passengers to the Lounge after the security screening check and he is at their disposal during their stay in the lounge.
