The charter arrival program of senior citizen groups organised by the WTouristic agency, member of the Karaci group in cooperation with RSD Reisen Germany and the Airport Dubrovnik, has commenced on Monday, January 14th 2019 with the arrival of the first flight. The Swedish passengers, 135 of them, were greeted by the representatives of the tourist agency WTouristic, commercial manager of Dubrovnik Airport, Ivan Maslać, the director of the Tourist board of the City of Dubrovnik, Romana Vlašić, representatives of the hotel and other partners.
The winter program of senior citizen group arrivals in the region of Dubrovnik will last until the 11th of May 2019, and will bring around 30 thousand visitors to Dubovnik. One charter per day with passengers from Germany and Scandinavia will be arriving until the 11th of February Afterwards, two charters shall arrive daily until the end of the program. The charter program of senior citizen groups has commenced in October 2018, however it was then relocated to the Airport Split, due to construction works at Dubrovnik Airport.
It is a round trip, which starts and ends in Dubrovnik. During their stay in Dubrovnik, guests will be accommodated in the Hotel Rixos Libertas, Hotel Lero and the Hotel Villa Paradiso. While travelling, the guests will have a chance to visit Ston, Makarska, Trogir and Split.
The program will be continued next year, when the arrival of around 65 thousand visitors is expected.
